The breakfast was amazing and Julia offered a variety of choices, made all the more special with breakfast served in the conservatory with spectacular views of the Black Mountains. The location of Cwtch Farm was perfect for me – I wanted to be in the country but close enough to a town and with plenty of walks for my dog. Cwtch Farm is situated perfectly for walkers (and bikers and cyclists alike, and those on business in nearby Swansea) wanting to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park. What’s more – and ideal for budding botanists – it’s only about 45 minutes from the Gower, which is home to some of the most diverse habitats and rarest plants in Britain. Of global significance, the Gower Important Plant Area boasts about 700 species of wild flowers. Julia was the perfect, friendly host and it’s no wonder that she and Cwtch Farm have won awards for their hospitality. My ensuite room was really comfortable and there was even a dog bed, water bowl and doggy treats at the ready for my springer. We visited in November when it was wet, but Julia has no shortage of towels – and a hosepipe – for muddy dogs. And while there was a television in my room, there’s also use of a cosy sitting room with TV and log burner. Julia has her own two dogs who welcomed mine with open arms and her two mini pigs were a constant source of amusement to my dog. I can’t hesitate but recommend Cwtch Farm and am looking forward to my next visit.

Staying at Cwtch Farm Bed & Breakfast had to have been the best B&B we stayed in for our first visit to wales. Julia was an amazing host, very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable of the area. Our Dog Bear also loved meeting her very friendly dogs and adorable pigs (Ben & Jerry!). Everything at Cwtch Farm was beyond expectations, Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfy. The bathroom looked brand new and the shower was very powerful! The views were beautiful and our breakfast was delicious. The extra FREE goodies that Julia provided were a lovely touch. A midnight snack box available to everyone as well as lots of board games and dvds for the rainy days as well as dog treats and poo bags for Bear were a lovely thought. Thank you Julia for your amazing hospitality. You have done an amazing job with your B&B and it was very exciting hearing all about your plans you have for the future with it. We loved every part of our stay and would love to return at some point in the future.

Julia is a great host we were made to feel welcome as soon as we got out the car. Her house was very homely with some nice little touches, which shows she takes a lot of pride in it. The views and setting are great for just chilling and the little pigs love a scratch.
