Independent Businesses Supporting Each Other.

2020 what a year especially if you are a small business owner, for so many of us it’s been a struggle! We have always supported local businesses but this year more than ever here at Cwtch Farm we understand how important it is to support other independent businesses in our local area. A simple recommendation to a customer, sharing a social media post or using a service or product that we produce all helps us small business owners not only survive but thrive!

At Cwtch Farm we are extremely lucky to be surrounded by some amazing businesses that we often recommend to our guests. So, we want to share them with you, whether you are local and want to go exploring or if you are busy planning for your next visit there are some amazing places to add to your list.

Penderyn whiskey was created by a group of friends who wanted to establish the first whiskey distillery in Wales in over a century and that is exactly what they did. Penderyn whiskey is an award-winning distillery that is now available in over 40 countries and yet is still produced in the historic village of Penderyn. Customers can not only enjoy some great tasting and tours (currently virtually), but they can also purchase the award-winning whiskey to take home to enjoy.  For the gin lovers amongst us they’ve got a great bottle for you to enjoy too.

These are just some of the amazing businesses that we are fortunate to have locally to us and there are plenty of others that need the support and love of other small businesses. Remember that when you shop local and support these small businesses you are helping not to build a huge empire that have CEOs paid millions of pounds. But you are helping to keep someone’s dream alive, you are helping them to support their family, to pay for those after school activities, sports kit or even driving lessons for their local families and this kind of support is what keeps our fantastic small businesses thriving!!
