Well what can we say about 2020 except that it has been a roller coaster of a year for everyone, and here at Cwtch Farm, we have really felt those ups and downs.  It feels like day 4052 of the year and yet we are also left wondering how on earth is it almost Christmas!! With all the difficulties that the year has brought, we have found ourselves only able to open for a month and a half this year, and we are desperately missing our customers, both human and furry alike!

It’s no surprise that 2020 has been a challenging year for many industries, especially for those in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Small businesses have felt this more than most. That being said, we’ve really enjoyed hosting the guests that have managed to make their way to us, and despite the uncertainty and constantly changing rules and regulations, we had a fantastic August! We got to meet so many amazing guests, and we cannot wait to get 2021 started with a bang!

COVID hasn’t been all bad, as it’s given us a great opportunity to spend some time improving things here at Cwtch Farm. We’ve had time to really develop and improve the services and experiences we offer, and we have even managed to get around to some of those overdue DIY projects. It’s also given us the opportunity to spend some invaluable quality time with our animals. We added the wonderful Caesar to our piggy family in Lockdown I and then Kevin bacon joined us in Local Lockdown.  As Wales enters Lockdown II, we’re kinda hoping there may be more pigs on the horizon for us but we’ll have to see what the rest of the piggy crew have to say about that.

So as Lockdown II kicks in this weekend give us a thought, drop us some pictures of your furry friends and critters and help to keep us smiling through the winter. Roll on 2021 we sincerely hope you have better things planned for us all.

Despite all the uncertainty, the ever-changing rules, and regulations we have thoroughly enjoyed the guests that we have been able to welcome into Cwtch Farm.  We miss seeing you all, and we are looking forward to welcoming back both old and new guests in 2021. If you are interested in visiting us here at Cwtch Farm, we are currently taking bookings for the 2021 season, so go ahead and get in touch with us to begin planning your visit!
