About Cwtch Farm

Cwtch Farm is a small family run bed and breakfast located in the rural hamlet of Rhiwfawr in the Upper Swansea Valley, it is located on a 3 acre smallholding surrounded by farmland and with spectacular views of the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacon National Park. The farm is a 10-minute drive to the Brecon Beacon National Park entrance and only an hour from the Gower Peninsula and all the stunning award winning beaches.

When you stay at Cwtch Farm, we are inviting you into our home as our guests and we will aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  We do live on site, but we treat all our guests as family and welcome you to enjoy all the facilities that we have to offer. We also accept dogs as long as they are friendly and fully vaccinated.

Cwtch Farm is owned and hosted by Julia and her 2 Border Collies and 2 Mini Pigs. It has been open since February 2018 after Julia moved to Wales from Sussex to live that rural dream.

All rooms have an en-suite shower room and a Netflix enabled TV; however our guests are also able to use the family lounge and watch sky TV or just relax in front of the log burner. We may on occasions join you for a cup of tea, glass of wine and a chat but will also give you some space to enjoy your break.

We are lucky to have some incredible walks and activities on our doorstep and you never have to travel far to find a new adventure. We have a wealth of information and maps in the house so if you need any help planning your trip to make the most of South Wales or just have a general query about the accommodation then please do not hesitate to send us a message.
